Lighthouse Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2015. Our purpose is to provide financial support to families with a child in crisis. There are too many teenagers with dangerous addictive or destructive behaviors whose parents have exhausted their personal financial resources trying to give their children the therapy they need. Often the cost of continued therapy, whether inpatient or outpatient, is impossible to bear. LCF seeks to bridge that gap.
Through our extensive network of mental healthcare providers and therapeutic residential programs, LCF identifies families who are in need of financial assistance and funds their continued therapy. 100% of all donations go directly defraying their mental healthcare costs.
We are thrilled to report that we have raised enough money to be able to help “bridge the gap” for several families!
“Ethan” is 20 years old and undergoing intensive outpatient therapy for his borderline personality disorder and major substance abuse. We were able to “bridge the gap” of $83.00 per session for his family and guarantee a year of continued twice-weekly therapy sessions.
“Catherine” is an 18 year-old struggling with suicidal depression. We were able to “bridge the gap” of $8,400 per year for her family to ensure she can continue with her ongoing intensive outpatient therapy.
"Clara" is a 13 year-old who struggles with severe OCD and behavioral issues. She has been in residential treatment for the last 6 months. We were able to “bridge the gap” of $17,500 for her family....
"Zach" is a 22 year-old young man at whom we are currently directing our fundraising efforts. He has a serious heroine and amphetamine addiction. He had the strength and determination to commit himself to a residential treatment program...
